The city of Neptik used to be a wonderful place to live. It was the second largest city in Alaska, and it had the lowest crime rate. Everything about this city was perfect. No one was ever murdered. It was simply a utopia, and it had been since it was founded in the 1950's. Though, it didn't know how to manage its money well, so most of the buildings a bit out dated. But that was the only flaw with the place. Pretty minor when you think about what happens in other cities.

Everyone was sure that this prosperity and perfection would last forever, but unfortunately, it didn't. In 2009 a horrible disease struck the people of Neptik. It was the worst disease anyone had ever seen. It was contagious in every way imaginable, and there was virtually no way to keep yourself safe from it, or even know that you had it until you were puking your insides out.

The government soon caught wind of what was happening, and instead of trying to treat and help the people, they merely quarantined them, waiting until they all died out. Then they went in and removed 98% if all the bodies for study and disposal. The great city of Neptik still remains uninhabited and quarantined. No one is allowed in, and no one is allowed out.

For some reasons, the dogs were not affected by this disease. A couple were taken out of the city to be studied, they were the lucky ones. All the short haired dogs died without heat. A vast majority of the long haired dogs died as well. Only the strongest survived.
