The blackout. It was black, all black. I could barely see light, every two seconds. It was nosie, and i could faintly hear talking from around me. Moist fog covered over my bodice, and eyes. Then, the ground started to rumble. I barely heard a low growl, and everything went black.
Snorting softly, he entered into the Fen. His small white nostrils flared, inhaling every different scent in the air. Orbs scanned over, no one seemed to be near. The smell of mares filled his nose, this was clamied land. Yet, not a hint of a male found. The only other idea was a, All mare herd. Which are rare, from what he half heard of. Half heard, that was the phrase. A term for being half deaf, his term.
Adonus was deaf, in his left ear. How, he doesnt know. Perhaps his fathers DNA, something running through his bloodstream. In his mind, he's a monster. Different from everyone, the outsider. Never being able to forget, that he was different. Growing up, emotions faded. Not being able to feel anything, even his own sorrow. Till this day, it hasnt changed. Green orbs lurked around. A light nicker slipped through his snow colored maw, whipping his black whipcord. He was now, here.

Her step was light and cheery, full of life. Her gentle trot was paired with her quiet hum. She had grown into a beautiful young mare, though she was still young, a yearling. Her mane tossed behind her and her joy raced beside her. The young mare's nose picked up the scent of another. That reminded her, where was she exactly? The thought just brushed over her mind as she continued her unnaturally happy gait.
She cheerfully whipped her head up in a small cheerful nicker and picked her trot up to a steady canter, excited to meet someone new. She called out into the field, now spotting a silhouette of a stallion. "Hello there mister!" Her pretty frame was light it its movements her face was breezy and kind, and her voice rang out clear and joyous. She looked much younger than she was as a result.
Slowing down as she neared him, she could see him more clearly. His eyes were green, how strange. Panting she smiled at him, "Hey there." The brightly-colored mare looked at him as if she had known him for her entire life. She stood there breathing slightly harder due to her run, her foot cocked in relaxation and her amber eyes staring into his green ones expectantly. Her eyes, they looked so much like her father's. Shatter, the handsome black stallion, their moods were so drastically differed. Surely he hated her. But not any more than her own mother. The one that abandoned her recently. The one that raised her, Ko. Why? It was so unlike her sweet dam, to leave her child like that. Poor Jezebel, she did not know of the mysterious stud that had forced her dear mother to leave with a threat.

Somber, humbly the grey fae trotted into the forest. She had no where to go or be, no one to meet. No one care about her so there for she care about no one, accept for helpless foals. Her short heavy frame clipped and brushed the foliage occasionally snapping off a small twig.
- loud rumbles, everything crumbles before I knew it she was dead-
But that was all the past. Dear, it's about time you start living here in the present. You may learn to enjoy life. Are you scared to be happy? Are you scared to be normal? Oh dear, you have always been quit the odd ball.
As she crossed over a knoll she could smell the thick stench of a brute and a mare...they were all in heat. It was unfortunate the way all the ladies purred like harmless kittens this time of year. Not Rumour. She may not be in your face but trust me she wont take getting pushed around. She'd rather be alone like she has been.
The pale stag. He was handsome. He caught her attention but not only hers. There it was, sure enough, a lady at his side. Rumour huffed in disgust at her perky demeanor. Funny though, how they were all light colored. She stood staring down at the pair watching, studying their interactions. She would have to learn to play the game these girls do if she was to get a home out here.

The burley mare walked along a pathway, merely crossing through the land to get to another place. But what place? She didn't know, but she did know why she was wandering. It seemed as if no male would take her under his wing, or cherish and claim her as she wished they would. Same with the females, all looking and gossiping about her long, tangled mess of mane or her dark, strange auma. Yes, she knew what they were saying of her. But did she care? That would be a big no.
She knew she had stumbled upon the Fen by the looks of it. She had heard many speak of here, but she had never had the need to visit until now. Meiko's large hooves padded softly on the muddy trail, the dirt being wettened and washed away by the light showers that dear Spring brought upon the lands. She was positive that all of the herds were thankful to be out and about after such a winter. Her long, thick body moved in and out of the shadows, each ray of light highlighting the raven blue and honey brown that intertwined with her ebony pelt. To herself, she was fairly attractive, but it must be her size.
No, it wasn't her size, she was sure of it.
The femme let her head hand low, a sigh emerging from her well rested lungs. She walked as her main way of transportation, and it helped her clear her mind. But also with walking came the abnoxious sounds of the forest. Birds, deer, the stalking predators just waiting to eat... The dear maid's cranium started to pound with a light headache. She could feel the blood beginning to pulse harder in her temples, so she broke off from the trail and into a random clearing for a rest.
There, she saw the three horses, conversing quietly. She kept half of her body blended with the shadows, only her forelegs and head emerging. She didn't speak---- She just watched with curiosity.

The scent was growing stronger, the earth under him started to rumble. Standing calmly, he glanced around. Someone was approuching him, and it was a mare. Green orbs gazed upon her, as she came in contact with him.
Ignoring her first greeting, he analyzed her without making it obvious and in the open. The color of the snow, with fire burning in her eyes. Light toned figure, only reaching the age of a yearling. Her mask was full of joy, and emotion. Something he didnt have, anymore. Her energy was strong, and overwhelming. Joy, and happiness filled in half the space between them and he could tell. Was it only because of spring, that is why she is happy. She voice snapped from his train of thought, another greeting was givin. "Greetings." His voice was monotone, plain, and steady. No, he wasnt going to announce his name first. Adonus respected females, just not all the time.
Nares flared, catching the scent of another. She was near, but not in greeting reach. Her vragrence was sweet, not only since she was in season too. Sweet like honey, light as the breeze. Unlocking his eyes from the white mare, they glanced around. Green pearls focused on her. A creamy tan, with faded black points here and there. She interested him, why wasnt she down here as well. Turning his attention back to the mare before him, another scent entered the air. Begining to feel annoyed, he stepped away. His face didnt show any emotion though, it amused him how others would try and figure out what he was feeling.
Eyes shot at the other equine close by, she was a dark bay it seemed. More muscle then the other mares, her breed was alot larger and more detailed. He wasnt surprised that their scents didnt woo him, never did he care much for it or mares for that matter. Though his attention drew back to the creamy buckskin in the distance, why didnt she come closer? Was she like him, didnt care for other much? Or scared, and scar'd by stallions. Ceriousity ran in his bodice, oddly. White skull lightly motioned for her to come closer, there was obviously enough room for the three. Feeling relaxed, and calm Adonus stood there. What was there to do now? Too just listen, which he could only half do. [WORDS: ] ?? [MUSE: ] 78 % ;3 [NOTES: ] Should i add him to the site ?, and lets keep the posting in order. The young mare would soon find that her disability of excessive happiness would be misunderstood often.. being in season was just one of the first assumptions in Springtime. His voice, it was very plain. Though the little mare did not thrive on his problems, and so with a ridiculous amount of kindness she replied in a faint giggle, "Silly one, I've never heard anyone say, 'greetings.'" Then she smiled while her giggle ebbed off when her powerfully burning amber eyes spotted two mares off at a distance. Now what were those girlies doing?
She spun her head from the mono toned stallion to peer at them. Now why was that one in the bushes and the other standing staring at them? A little blush went over her checks, did they think this stranger and her were, together? She glanced back over at the male, apology sprinkled over her stunningly shiny eyes. Then she called out to the mares, as if they were being to funny by standing there. "Come on over you guys!" she yelled "What are you waiting for?" Then she let out a shrill whiny and tossed her white head, letting her mane fly gracefully over her neck and tangling her forelock over her brilliant fiery eye.
A sudden thought occurred, she didn't even know his name. He didn't even know her name. So with this thought she turned to him, "I'm Jezebel by the way, mister." It was spoken like a true little kid. As if she was introducing herself to a little week old baby. Though not spoken as if he were dumb, no she said it in politeness and in utter and complete kindliness.

Fleabitten femme watched as the stud interacted with the lady. He was obviously distracted from her though. His attention was not focused on her like hers was on him. Rumour watched and made not of all these interactions. She could appear confident no problem, it would be speaking that was the issue.
The male and her alone she may not mind letting him see her weakness however in front of other ladies she did not know as well could be dangerous. Mares were worse then stallions and Rumour knew that all to well. She had been stabbed in the back by many females and she would never trust one again.
She heard the mare invite her in. Instead she chose to ignore it. In fact she turned her rump towards the group and began to much on the lush grass. The stud she would be more then happy to socialize with, the mares, she would much prefer not too.

Meiko watched as the jittery young mare introduced herself to the stag, then invite her over. A wince found her eye, and she took a step backwards into the cool, dark shadows. She knew that if the stallion had wanted her there, he would have called himself. But yet again, she found his gazing up to the fleabitten fae up on the ridge. Meiko rolled her eyes, planning on turning to leave. But no, she wanted a show, so she watched the two in the open with careful, sullen eyes.

The white mare still stood in front of him, like she was waiting for something. Right now, Adonus didnt know what to do with himself. Her perky attitude reminded him of what his real mother could have been like, instead he had his foster mom. The cold hearted bitch, with no soul or life of her own.
''Mom, whats wrong?'' i asked her. She looked so pitiful, and useless. So i thought i'd comfort her. Her black base shimmered a purple in the sun light, it shined. Then her brown eyes shot at me, they were full of hate and anger. ''Go away you little pest, you think im just stupid and i dont know what he is doing.'' She snapped at me, i stepped away from her but keeping my calm. I was confused, 'Mother, what are you talking about? is this about dad?' my voice was shaky and unstead. She knew that, i could tell by the smirk on her maw. I only cared about her, she was the closest thing to a mother i had. The only thing i had to a mother. I cared for her, like no other could. In return, was pain. ''Your never going to live up to a great stallion, you know that?'' She hissed, '' NOTHING !, your just trash that your father picked up because he felt sorry for your ass.'' I just absorbed her anger, and pain. I turned and left her, that was all i could do.
For years she treated him like shit, nothing but the dirt under her hoofs. Through those years, she had beated him down to nothing. Till there was nothing left of him, inside of out. The only thing he had left, to even think about caring for and she tore him apart. Not that it mattered anymore, or would ever be brought up. His steady staring quickly stopped, when the mares voice broke into the air again. This time she was calling for the others, who simply didnt care either. Then, of course she announced her name. Closing his eyes, he walked a little ways towards the fleebitten mare. She was off quite a ways from where he was now standing, obviously she wanted to be left alone. "What reason do you have for being joyful and happy?" Adonus spoke sternly, letting her no this wasnt all fun and games with him. Her perkiness was annoying, a little too much.
At the moment, the other females didnt even cross his mind. The flee bittne thought was another story. Something about her drew him in, like a fish on a line. But for right now the stag didnt bother, his temper wasnt on the right level. He needed to stay calm, and he planned on it.

He stalked off a ways, and her eyes narrowed at his words. What isn't there to be happy about? In fact, she had never really even thought of her attitude as being joyful. It was just how she had always felt. Well, that and the strange tints of other feelings, like abandonment, for instance... Or even annoyance, as she felt now. What was everyone's problem here? She had never met someone quite this distasteful. And the others? They just stood there like statues, why were they even here if they weren't going to do anything? Even just call out and respond in any manner whatsoever? What was she, invisible?
One thing was for sure, nothing was happening. This wasn't going anywhere any time soon. So she let out a loud snort and stomped her front hoof to the ground, then let out a shrill and richly annoyed retort. "and what reason is there not to be happy and joyful about? You don't need to be so... Plain. All of you!" She gestured towards the rather creepy mares that just stood there off at a distance, like trees with eyes or something. They had to being thinking. I mean, who just sits there and stares?
Her little flare of anger and utter annoyance flickered and died. It was so odd, one might call her bipolar. Though she was not, she simply had a short-lived flame flare inside her heart instead of happiness. A very real and very sweet smile placed on her lips as she gazed about, suddenly overly interested in the butterflies flitting through the air. She had completely forgotten about her strike towards the plain horses about her.
