MUSTANG Store Suggestions

Hi, all who read. I have a couple of suggestions to the Store, and I hope you all think the ideas may be as popular as I do.

First, Customize your own foal!

Now, I don't know how much this could cost, simply because I haven't yet been to the store. But, this includes:

- The foals breed (purebred if wanted)
- The foals body structure
- The foals eye color, coat color, mane color, etc.
- The foals personality

Second, some "Miracle Potion" to make the mare's gestation time shorter.

Many people HATE waiting for foals to be born, simply because the foal is a major impact on the plots. I know I can't wait for my mare to have a foal! The gestation time will be shortened to only 1 Season, so if your mare if bred in Spring, the baby will be born in Summer. See what I'm saying?

That's all for now, and thanks if you took the time to see my suggestions. I hope they get added!

I hate to shoot down your ideas butttttt

1. You can customize your foal by purchasing changes from the store.
2. Personality is up the RPer
3. Structure is up to the RPer
4. Changing a foals breed would be pointless, it basically takes away the history of the foal and takes away from the foal being 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so on generation.

as for the miracle potion, I will leave that up to Wicked to consider

Hello Silence, thanks heaps for your ideas. They are all considered, but as Trynx said, we already have a few of the things you mentioned.

Foal eye colour can be changed already, as Trynx said.

The foals mane colour will be in relation to it's coat. eg. If a horse is Chestnut, it only has a red/brown to blonde mane. If it didn't it wouldn't be a chestnut, would it? ^^ Same thing for Bay's, Blacks etc. When it comes to grey's, we allow a lot of freedom there because there is such a varying degree of greying. So if you've got your foal stats, and the staff have said 'Grey (Bay Base- just for example)' you may choose if that horse is white-grey, dark grey, has a pale mane, dark mane and so on.

Body structure will be in relation to the breed of the parents, as a general rule. Although as Trynx has said, it's in the hands of the characters Role-Player/Scribe to decide if the horse is lighter or heavier, etc.

Unfortunately because we like to keep a bit of realism to things around here, changing the breed will probably be a little bit awkward. Simply because it's impossible for such a thing to occur naturally.

Miracle Potion is a cool idea, although collides a bit with the realisim again. That one would probably need a bit more discussion.

I hope that cleared some things up for you, and don't be dissheartened. As I said, we always look into suggestions.

So first off...
Hi Nancy!

Okay, I do think that personalizing the foal is a little far fetched just because we already have a lot of that already in the store and the rest (such as changing breeds) isn't realistic (Sorry to shoot you down there >.<). However I think it is an amazing idea for a shorter gestation period 'potion.' Maybe it could be some weird human-made mutation? Who knows? But the thing is about that, is that staff will need to keep track of all the mares who had bought this 'potion.' I don't know if this will be a problem, I'm not staff, but I do think it should be brought up if there is to be a staff discussion over it. Also, the price for it? Does MUSTANG want a bunch of early-born foals? Should it be expensive? Or would no one buy it if it cost that much? Just things to think about.
