Rapture moved quietly, lost in thought. Every sense Autumn had hit, he had searched high and low for the mares he had bred and the foals who carried is DNA. Hopefully one of them was a little girl. From what he had seen or heard, all of his foals so far had been colts. Sure it was fine, great actually, but a he needed a daughter. Plus his sons were all over a year and he had been gone for so long, he couldn't be there parent. It was a ridiculous thought to waltz in and expect them to listen to him. Only when the wind brushed against his mighty frame did he look around. A little chuckle came from his maw seeing he was at the Oasis. He had only been here once and it was where he had met and br Sombra, the grulla mare who he had liked. Maybe she woul be here. He let out a loud call, beckoning to her and the foal, hoping they were out here. His voice trumpeted over the oasis as he waited for a response.

Sombra moved slowly through the lands simply wandering where ever her hooves carried her. She didn't have a land or herd she called her own, and frankly she didn't want one. Once a mare was in a herd things like obedience and fealty were expected of them. That wasn't the kind of mare Sombra was. She didn't give up control of her own life easily, if at all, so the thought of joining a herd just to allow some stallion to order her around didn't appeal to her. The only difference now was the small foal that stuck close to her side. Her little Lark changed these thoughts of hers slightly. It would be easier to protect her filly if she was part of a group, and being around others would be good for her foal. Sombra knew when she grew up there were always other foals and horses around her and she learned much by being around them. Sighing she came to a halt, and nickered softly to Lark, gently touching the foal with her muzzle. She wasn't sure what she should do. It was only when she heard a call that her attention snapped back to where she was standing, and she actually noticed where she happened to be. The very same Oasis where she had met the stallion that had sired her only foal, Lark. Harks flicked back at the thought of the stallion. Sure he had been quite attractive, and even something about him had captured her interest past a physical level she was still upset. Upset with him, and even herself for letting him breed her, some unknown, untested vagabond whom she hadn't seen since that spring day.
Snorting, she clicked her teeth together as she began walking once more, cautiously, in the direction from where she had heard the call. It was then that the winds shifted and his scent wafted to her stretched naires. Auds pinned flat as she arched her neck angrily. 'Speak of the devil,' she thought bitterly as she picked up her pace slightly heading for the stallion whom she wanted to give a piece of her mind to. She didn't understand why she felt so driven to tear into this Rapture stallion, perhaps its because she felt tricked, or just plain foolish for allowing him to breed with her when he simply disappeared afterwards. He was the sire of her first foal after all, shouldn't she have found a more worthy stallion? Tossing her head when he came into view, her eyes narrowed a bit and a snort left her nostrils. Pausing for a moment, she reached over and touched Lark warning her to stay put, before striding forward slowly. "Well, well, well I guess I should stop coming here," she said smoothly stepping forward. "It seems when ever I happen across this place I run into riffraff like your sorry self." She practically spat, harks still back as she stopped a good deal away from the stallion.
(ooc: sorry for the wait)

Rapture smiled happily as a familiar grulla figure strode towards him. He froze, waiting for Sombra's teeth to land a nip on him like most mares he had bred did when he found them the following spring. beside her was a pretty young filly, her grulla coat interrupted by white overo markings. He smiled kindly and nickered softly towards her. Turning his attention to lovely mare before him he chuckled and took a step closer. "Hello love, fancy seeing you again. And last time we had met, I don't remember you acting as if I were a sorry self. Then again you could be a tremendous actress. Our daughter is beautiful, just like your lovely self." Rapture countered. A cocky, yet charming and boyish smile transformed on his maw as he brushed against her to trot closer to the tiny grulla and ivory filly. Rapture smiled once again. "Hello doll, I'm your daddy. Would you and your momma like to come live with me?" he asked in a soft voice, heisantly nuzzling her tiny frame. Turning his head to look at Sombra he offered up a smile. "I tried looking for you. During fall and winter. I couldn't find you." Rapture added quietly. Notes-- I adore them together. If she ever needs or wants a mate, please consider Rapture.
