Well, all I have to say is... Wow. I can understand where you're coming from, because trust me, I have been there. Being new is hard, and some sites can be hard to fit into. Though, I do not think this is one of them. Here, in my own personal experience, everyone is very welcoming to new members. Every time a new member joins and comes into the cbox, they're welcomed by every single person who's chatting. Or, that's my personal experience, at least.
As far as not getting replies? We all have lives, and sometimes posting doesn't get done as quickly as we'd like. Hell, most of the time I'm lucky if I get a post up every two or three days--that's just how it is. And, no, I'm not disagreeing with you. Not getting replied to can be annoying. But, that's why you join more threads, and get more involved! C:
I understand you're just wanting to be heard, but I, as well as several other people I'm sure, don't appreciate you talking badly about a site we all love. If you want to get involved, there's plenty ways to do so. You could have posted in plot threads, made your own plot thread, or, maybe even creeped other's logs and sent out a few PMs. I know I, for one, would have loved to thread with you if I knew you were looking for people to thread with. C:
I don't mean to sound rude, in fact that's the last thing I want to do, but I really don't like your approach to this thread. Perhaps you could stay a little longer, and try to get more involved? If not, that's your choice of course, but you're missing out.
All the best to youu, Grey

Well I know I don't agree, and I also know you're trying to give us feedback. We're very active; before I came to MUSTANG I'd never even actually looked around at an rpg before. I never felt like an outsider or that I was butting in. And for new members, there's an entire help area that they should read before ever even joining. I don't know where you live or how school/college works for you, but for most of us school/college just picked back up and everyone is trying to sort out their routines. The cbox is almost always being used and no one acts like you're not allowed to be here. I know that I personally always greet guests and any user who says hello, even if it's not intended for me.
And not to be mean, but perhaps you should spend more than 5 days on the site and actually get to know the members who play. Besides, how can I notice you if you don't check back everyday? Isn't that the point of being active? That's how people notice others, you actually have to be online more than 5 seconds of every day. Personally, I would have liked to thread with you, but to be honest I've never even seen you on...It's a shame you think so poorly of such a great site and I wish you the best in finding one that's even remotely close to MUSTANG.

I'm sorry it had to be this way, and I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to meet.
Just remember you're always welcome back if you'd like to give us another chance.

I, and I'm sure most of the staff, hold complaints closer to my heart than compliments. It is the members like you that are willing to speak out that help us, and although we adore praise- it dosn't get us very far, does it?
I appreciate the time you took to tell us this, and I'm deeply sorry for appearing unwelcoming. I'm sure you made the right decision in staying. :-)

I was new here and I was welcomed by the majority! Personally I just stick myself in there with or without being welcome. However, that's just how I go about things and then again I'm an over friendly, over talkative person. I can't say I'm a saint though, especially when it comes to a site that is tight knitted and close with the members who have been he!e for decades. I feel like an intruder every time I join a new site but Mustang is really different. This place is super active; can't say the same about myself thought.
I'm glad you stayed! I would love to get to know you and your characters if you are ever interested in a thread/plot/ect.
