The History of MUSTANG by Trynx .......................
In the early days of MUSTANG, the lands were uninhabited. No humans. No horses. It was MUSTANG in its purest state. For a while it remained that way, lonely and pure, until a pair of stallions swept in from the neighboring lands to take MUSTANG for themselves. Charlie, a handsome buckskin stallion took on a large, prosperous herd. The other stallion, Sun Runner, a beautiful paint, was less concerned with the size of his herd and instead surrounded himself with a small group of horses. Though rivals, things in MUSTANG remained peaceful with just the two herd stallions to rule over such a vast land.
Enter Demonio Luchador, a strong fighting stallion. He ambitiously gathered up a herd of his own, staking his claim on MUSTANG. It was after the arrival of Demonio Luchador that the great Charlie passed away. Murdered, some might say. It all happened when a horse by the name of Loss of Love stole Charlie's kingdom from right under his nose. Charlie was furious, seeking revenge on his former comrade. Loss of Love and Charlie went to battle, and for Charlie, it would be his last. His injuries were so severe that they soon took his life. With the fall of one of the founding kings, things in MUSTANG began to change.
Annabelle, once a mare of Charlie's takes over the Bachelorettes. It comes as no surprise that she starts to stir up trouble with the local Bachelors. She steals their Delta stallion, Sandman Seventeen, angering Tragic, lead of the band of boys. War breaks out.
Eventually herds began to disband around MUSTANG, giving way to small and numerous harems. Though there was more quarrel over mares, the times weren't so covered in bloodshed. Of course, lightness can only exist when there is darkness and things were not always perfect. Stallions stole mares from each other, at times leading to battles. Harems could only last for so long though, and herds began to flourish once more.
All this time, one stallion has remained, always strong and always a leader, Sun Runner. As a founding father of MUSTANG, it is no question that he one of the most highly respected equines in the land. He looks over all of MUSTANG, a land that will forever triumph.
Through floods and blizzards, and insect plagues, if one thing is to be said about the horses of MUSTANG, it's that they are survivors and will boldly face whatever is thrown their way.
